We are looking for full time Lead Practice Nurse or ANP to join our team at Swanscombe Health Centre and branch practices.
Based at Swanscombe Health Centre, the role of the Lead Practice nurse will be to work within and lead/manage our nursing team, support the IPC lead, to offer support and treatment for our patients, focusing particularly on health improvement. You should have experience of working in a similar role, with relevant qualifications, NMC registration, and have excellent organisational skills.
Duties will include (but not exhaustive);
Managing a team of 5 nurses and 7HCAs
Be the IPC Lead – completing audits, training etc
Supporting trainees and team training
Nursing team rotas
Take part in MDT meetings inhouse
General PN duties
We have a team of over 100 staff throughout 7 sites, including GPs, Paramedic Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacists, Physicians Associates, a Physiotherapist, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Social Prescribers and the administrative support workers. Even with a large team, we work closely together and clinical staff are supported by a weekly clinical meeting.
