Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 4-6 sessions Part-time GP to join our team and help meet the diverse healthcare needs of our rural population. This rare vacancy is available due to reduction of sessions by our current GP.
About Us
We are a small friendly, patient-centred rural practice serving a close-knit community in Lyminge, near Folkestone with a patient population of approximately 3000. Our surgery prides itself on delivering high-quality, personalised care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
According to the latest National GP Patient Survey 2025, 98% describe their overall experience of our practice as good which is the highest score in Kent and amongst the best in the country.
Main duties of the job
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred clinical care to our diverse population, including acute, chronic disease, and preventive care.
- Undertake face-to-face, telephone, online consultations and rare home visits as we have a dedicated home visiting service.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective, holistic care.
- Participate in practice meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and significant event reviews
- Manage administrative tasks related to patient care, including referrals, pathology results, and correspondence.
